Apostle Gilbert Rolle, Sr.

Pastor Rolle returned to his native land by the inspiration of the Lord to evangelize the street of Bimini for a one month tent crusade “Strengthen the thing that remain”.   After seeing the desolation of his people, he became burdened and after much prayer and fasting the Lord ordered his steps to start to Bimini and thus birthed the vision of Gateway Outreach Ministry.

The vision for this ministry continues under the leadership or Pastor Rolle and the direction of the Holy Spirit the pre-school, Gateway Christian Academy was birthed. Through much keen eyes and great nurturing to our students, it was a demand by our community to keep their children in this Christian environment which causes our dreams to expand even the more. We have a private all age school which is solely subsidized by Gateway Ministry as we continue to serve our community with the spirit of excellent.

What is the significance of the name Gateway? Bimini is the gateway to the Bahamas and later became the gateway for drug smuggling. Gateway even as Jacob after his encounter with God caused his identity to be changed so has our Island since the birthing of this Ministry. We have been established to rebuild, to restore to strengthen and be the watchmen of our city. Bimini is now known as the Gateway to God’s Glory.

Pastor Rolle is married to the lovely, First Lady, Minister Yvette Rolle; they are very proud parents of three beautiful children: Gilbert Jr., Guido, and Ghadajah who love the Lord and are very active in ministry.
